Job Overview

Position Summary: The Closing Coordinator is tasked with the meticulous examination of title commitments, file notes, and all documentation pertinent to the assembly of ALTA Settlement Statements and Closing Disclosures. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as adhering to all applicable U.S. state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a daily pipeline of loans for preparation and comprehensive process review.
  • Scrutinize files, identify, and request necessary documents such as title commitments, lien payoffs, and tax information.
  • Prepare and deliver closing document packages to notaries and signing agents.
  • Verify liens and procure payoff letters, updating lien releases and tax information as required.
  • Engage in daily communication with lenders, attorneys, and notaries.
  • Calculate and reconcile income and assets in accordance with program guidelines and AUS certification.
  • Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in mortgage closing is highly desirable.
  • Must be available for full-time work, five days a week.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
