Job Summary

Villa of Hope is seeking a highly skilled Training Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Quality and Performance department, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing training programs across the organization.

Your primary focus will be on identifying training needs, developing curriculum, and ensuring staff receive the necessary training to maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with department leadership and staff to identify training gaps and develop strategies to address these needs.
  2. Ensure training plans adhere to all agency, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  3. Work closely with Talent and Culture, program managers, and clinical directors to ensure alignment between training initiatives and organizational goals.
  4. Provide feedback to program leadership and staff.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and materials tailored to the specific needs of the organization's programs.
  6. Manage training schedules, materials, and resources, including maintaining training records and documentation.
  7. Identify internal and external training programs to address training and competency gaps.
  8. Coordinate offsite training activities and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in human services, education, organizational development, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in training and development, with a strong knowledge of methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in behavioral health or residential settings preferred.
  • TCI Trainer Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of COA, OMH, OASAS, NYSED, and DOH regulations preferred.
