We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Salesforce Inc. This is a key position that will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our partnerships.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to grow our business through recruiting consulting and technology partnerships. You will work closely with our internal alliances teams to evangelize the value of our Heroku platform to prospective partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting existing and prospective partners to incorporate our Heroku platform into their portfolio of supported technologies.
  • Evaluating the value of our Heroku platform from both a technical and business perspective and communicating it to internal and external audiences.
  • Building strong relationships with regional alliances teams to drive them to incorporate our Heroku platform into their partner success, enablement, sales plays, and other activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of sales and business development success.
  • Demonstrated technical sales proficiency.
  • Strong orientation toward technology and ability to quickly learn and understand new products and tools.
  • In-depth experience with and knowledge of the SI landscape.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
