About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Strategic Business Development to lead our Integrated Business Planning efforts. This strategic leadership role oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IBP processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration abilities to drive business results in a dynamic environment.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- IDentify key responsibilities and practices to promote a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
- Support the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods, and practices to promote REI's key messages.
- Challenge and inspire employees to achieve business results.
- Ensure employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
- Oversee training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed, making effective staffing decisions.
- Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews.
- Provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to employees to achieve department, company, and customer results.
- Establish and maintain visibility within the department.
- Monitor operational statistics, report trends, variances, and issues, taking appropriate action.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in leading Integrated Business Planning or Sales & Operations Planning processes within a complex, global organization.
- Expert knowledge of Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, and IBP/S&OP.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in demand planning, supply chain management, and financial forecasting.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering business results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to generate insights through data, translate insights into actionable plans, and recommendations.
