Banking Center Manager Assistant

The Assistant Banking Center Manager is a key role in the success of Midland States Bank. This position is responsible for assisting the Banking Center Manager in managing the sales and operations of the Banking Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer and business products and services, as well as excellent sales and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the training and coaching of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and sell banking products and services.
- Work closely with the Banking Center Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the management of the Banking Center, including scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to sell additional products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on banking products and services, including consumer and business loans, deposit accounts, and other financial products.
- Participate in community events and activities to promote the bank and its products and services.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Broad knowledge of bank systems, consumer loans, and deposit accounts.
- Cash handling and customer service background.
- Proven sales experience and ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
