Position Overview:
The Virtual Business Banker II (VBB II) plays a crucial role in managing daily operations and supporting both inbound and outbound sales initiatives within a phone-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on proactively retaining and enhancing relationships with a portfolio of complex and high net worth small business owners.
- Engage in cross-selling additional business products and services to deepen existing relationships.
- Build strong connections that may lead to sourcing new products and services through outbound phone activities.

Relationship Management:
- Responsible for managing, retaining, and expanding the assigned book of business while acquiring new relationships through leads and referrals.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of partners to provide comprehensive support to customers, including Treasury Management Officers and Sales Support teams.

Client Engagement:
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a virtual setting while actively engaging clients and prospects.
- Utilize customer relationship management software and other relevant applications efficiently.

Sales Strategy:
- Maintain a consistent calling schedule on clients and leads to generate high-quality new business opportunities in deposits, treasury, and lending.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of the complex business cash flow cycle and apply advanced sales skills during client interactions.

Product Knowledge:
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions through defined sales processes.
- Establish rapport with clients, maintaining a clear understanding of their business models to suggest appropriate product solutions.

Compliance and Accountability:
- Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance protocols during all client interactions.
- Collaborate on special projects or initiatives as assigned, holding self and others accountable for demonstrating the company's values.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Banking.
- Preferred: 5+ years of Business Banking experience and 1+ year of phone-based sales experience.
- Formal credit training is advantageous.
