Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure efficient access to employee records and documents.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and maintaining candidate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, management, and external partners, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the HR team, including data entry, record-keeping, and special projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in HR or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in HR or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems, including HRIS and time-tracking systems.
  • Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish.
