Clinical Specialist, Cardiac Rhythm Management

Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in the Cardiac Rhythm Management department. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical, educational, and operational support to assist the district in meeting sales and customer service objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to customers and sales representatives
- Assist with educational and training programs for physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff
- Support operational activities, including inventory management and software maintenance
- Participate in sales support activities, including market research and customer needs assessment
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or a related field
- Associate degree, plus 2 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering
- Cath lab, EP lab, hospital, or clinic experience
- Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel
- Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and participate in numerous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position
- Expertise with Microsoft tools and other business applications
- Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
- IBHRE certification (below Principal level)
- Frequent travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings
- Continuous verbal and written communication
- Frequent 2-handed lifting of up to 40 lbs from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately the same level
- Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day
- Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation
- Ability to wear 7-9 lbs of lead for extended periods of time while in the O.R.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to effectively use a mobile phone, PC, keyboard, and mouse
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and balance
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer
- Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Minimum travel of 10%
