Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Senior Information Resources Associate to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an innovative thinker with a passion for information resources to contribute to a global team within a well-established firm.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director of Global Information Resources and will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with global consulting teams on diverse research initiatives utilizing information tools and proprietary databases to support client projects and business development efforts.
  • Delivering prompt solutions and comprehensive research, along with current awareness services, competitive intelligence, and specialized research to assist consulting staff.
  • Engaging with information resources team members across various regions to enhance the global research function through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Providing training and guidance to consulting staff on research methodologies and end-user products.
  • Contributing to the marketing and development of information services for staff globally.
  • Participating in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in information/library science from an accredited institution or an MBA in business or economics is required; an undergraduate degree in economics or finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate or legal research setting, providing business and financial information is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in conducting legal research using platforms such as PACER, Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law, with a solid understanding of the US Legal System.
  • Familiarity with database services like Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, and LSEG Data & Analytics is required.
  • Experience in searching academic, literature, and news databases such as Factiva, EconLit, Proquest, Business Source Corporate, and Heinonline.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of the Securities Finance industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint is necessary.

Work Schedule

The qualified candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday, with a minimum of three days in-person attendance required, and additional hours as necessary to meet project deadlines.
