Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Consultant (Retirement) to join our team at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. As a key member of our Human Resource Management department, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the University's insurance and retirement programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in insurance and retirement programs. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as providing excellent customer service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the University's insurance and retirement programs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless program implementation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on insurance and retirement programs
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • CEBS, PHR or SPHR certification
  • Experience with Louisiana state retirement plans
