Job Title: Business Development Manager

At Govig & Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with industry influencers to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to targeting and winning new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, designers, and contractors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the commercial real estate, architecture, and design industries
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Industry experience in commercial real estate, furniture, architecture, and/or general construction
  • Business-to-business sales skills and experience with a strategic selling process
  • Design knowledge and experience
  • Basic knowledge of CRM or other industry-specific applications
  • Negotiation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of general sales or business development experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience dealing with industry influencers or serving as a vendor representative
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover leads and identify opportunities to grow the sales funnel
  • Demonstrated successes in building relationships and strategic selling
