Business Development Manager

At Govig & Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with industry influencers to drive business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic approach to targeting and winning new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, designers, and contractors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the commercial real estate, architecture, and design industries
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform sales strategies
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Industry experience in commercial real estate, furniture, architecture, and/or general construction
- Business-to-business sales skills and experience with a strategic selling process
- Design knowledge and experience
- Basic knowledge of CRM or other industry-specific applications
- Negotiation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 5+ years of general sales or business development experience
- 5+ years of industry experience dealing with industry influencers or serving as a vendor representative
- Demonstrated ability to uncover leads and identify opportunities to grow the sales funnel
- Demonstrated successes in building relationships and strategic selling
