POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Specialist will be pivotal in advancing programmatic and organizational marketing initiatives while fostering audience engagement for behavioral health services. This role requires a passion for storytelling, innovative outreach strategies, and a deep commitment to community engagement, making it a fulfilling opportunity for the right candidate. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the Director of Strategic Vision and the management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with executive leadership, including the CEO and CCO, to drive marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Work alongside agency directors on special projects to swiftly address emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders to gather insights and develop relevant content reflecting organizational achievements and plans.
  • Design comprehensive communication strategies, including speeches and publications, to support internal and external messaging.
  • Manage a marketing budget that aligns with the organization's objectives, overseeing promotional materials and distribution for community events.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to create and update graphic materials for programs and events, including social media content.
  • Coordinate graphic design efforts for fundraising campaigns and program launches.
  • Ensure positive branding for the agency within the community.

Social Media Management

  • Oversee and implement engaging social media strategies, including content creation and analytics.
  • Work with leadership to develop a social media calendar that promotes events and initiatives.
  • Monitor brand interactions across social platforms and engage with the community.
  • Set measurable goals for social media campaigns and prepare performance reports.
  • Enhance online presence by increasing followers and engagement.

Website Management

  • Administer the agency's website, implementing strategies to enhance user engagement.
  • Analyze web traffic and monitor online reputation.

Brand Development

  • Strengthen brand identity and voice to create a welcoming environment for individuals seeking behavioral health services.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to promote agency services.
  • Represent the agency at public and professional meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate the overall marketing communications strategy.
  • Organize brand assets and oversee the development of newsletters and reports.
  • Assist in creating and executing marketing plans to support agency growth.
  • Be flexible with working hours for special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Candidates may need to obtain first aid and/or CPR certifications. Travel may be necessary, and candidates must meet agency insurance requirements.
