POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be pivotal in advancing programmatic and organizational marketing initiatives, focusing on audience engagement to support behavioral health services. This role demands a strong narrative skill set, creativity in outreach strategies, and a deep commitment to community welfare, making it a fulfilling opportunity for the right candidate. The Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Strategic Vision and collaborate closely with the management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work under the guidance of the CEO, CCO, Consumer Advocate, and Director of Strategic Vision.
  2. Collaborate with agency leaders on urgent marketing projects and community engagement opportunities.
  3. Maintain ongoing communication with agency directors to collect news and insights regarding organizational activities, achievements, and future plans, and develop content accordingly.
  4. Design comprehensive communication strategies, speeches, and publications; create content for various platforms, including print and digital media.
  5. Develop and manage a marketing budget that aligns with the agency's objectives.
  6. Oversee promotional materials and marketing items, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution at community events.
  7. Establish and nurture relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Graphic Design Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with leadership to create or update graphic materials for programs and events, including social media content and event collateral.
  2. Coordinate graphic design efforts for fundraising initiatives and program launches.
  3. Ensure positive branding for the agency within the community.

Social Media Management

  1. Execute engaging social media strategies, including crafting creative copy and designing multimedia assets.
  2. Work with leadership to build and manage a social media calendar to promote events and initiatives.
  3. Monitor brand interactions and manage direct messaging across all social platforms.
  4. Collaborate with partners to establish measurable goals for social media campaigns and prepare performance reports.
  5. Ensure content is optimized for maximum reach, including potential paid advertising.
  6. Enhance online community engagement by increasing followers and interaction rates.

Website Management

  1. Oversee the agency's website, implementing recommended strategies for improved engagement.
  2. Monitor online reputation and analyze website traffic metrics.

Brand Development

  1. Strengthen brand voice and identity to foster a welcoming environment for individuals seeking behavioral health services.
  2. Conduct community outreach initiatives.
  3. Represent the agency at public and professional meetings and conferences as needed.
  4. Coordinate the overall marketing communications strategy.
  5. Organize brand assets, including photography and graphics for social initiatives.
  6. Participate in recruitment efforts at job fairs and other employment-related events.
  7. Oversee the creation of the agency newsletter and annual reports.
  8. Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote growth and expansion of services.
  9. Flexibility in working hours may be required for special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in a communications-related field, coupled with three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Certification in first aid and/or CPR may be necessary.

Travel may be required, and candidates must provide a valid driver's license and meet agency insurance standards.
