Job Overview:

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will take charge of managing and posting across our social media channels, crafting and overseeing communications, and addressing graphic design requirements.

This role is pivotal in amplifying our brand's presence and interaction; by employing a creative and resourceful approach, coupled with strategic insight, the coordinator will align daily responsibilities with the overarching vision and mission of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Oversight:
Manage and supervise the organization's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Create and schedule engaging content that highlights the organization's initiatives, values, and mission.
Track social media channels for trends, interactions, and feedback, responding as necessary.

Communications Oversight:
Develop and disseminate clear, compelling communications to members and external stakeholders.
Ensure all communications reflect the organization's voice and branding standards.
Collaborate with various departments to gather insights and create content for newsletters, emails, and other communications.

Graphic Design Oversight:
Manage graphic design projects from inception to completion.
Create or source visually appealing graphics for digital and print materials.
Ensure all graphic design outputs align with the organization's branding and marketing strategies.

Advertising Management:
Design and implement paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, making necessary adjustments to optimize ROI.
Explore new advertising avenues to enhance reach and awareness for the organization and its brand.

Strategic Insight and Innovation:
Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Propose innovative marketing strategies and tactics to broaden the organization's reach and engagement.
Connect daily marketing efforts to the organization's strategic objectives and brand vision.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required.

A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is preferred, or a combination of relevant work experience and history.

Three to five years of experience in social media management, communications, and branding is essential.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms, their trends, uses, target audiences, and advertising capabilities is necessary.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM platforms is required, along with a willingness to learn new systems.
Ability to travel domestically up to 5%.

Ability to effectively convey information and respond to inquiries from diverse groups (internal team members, external customers and vendors, board members).
