Job Overview

Position Title: HR Recruitment Generalist

Reporting To: HR Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Annual Salary: $75,000

Summary:

The HR Recruitment Generalist plays a vital role in the mission of the Neighborhood Association to attract and maintain a diverse, skilled workforce. The ideal candidate will support the management of all talent acquisition and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in crafting and executing strategic talent acquisition plans and best practices for sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events across various locations.
  • Research and recommend diverse recruitment strategies tailored to the organization's hiring needs.
  • Screen applications to ensure candidates meet the required qualifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison for management, ensuring all pre-employment screenings such as drug tests, background checks, and reference verifications are conducted.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations, prepare benefit materials, explain enrollment options, and assist with preliminary enrollment documentation.
  • Analyze data to maintain an understanding of competitive salary trends and candidate demand based on job titles.
  • Serve as a point of contact for carriers and third-party administrators regarding talent acquisition management systems.
  • Identify and address trending issues to enhance data and process management.
  • Ensure accurate electronic storage and management of employee records.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent outreach, or related HR roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with potential candidates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with intermediate skills in PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
