We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team at HR Recruiting Services. Based in the US, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive business growth and development.

With a strong background in business development, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth initiatives across various domains. Your expertise in navigating complex Federal contracting methods and building collaborative relationships with customers and partners will be invaluable to our organization.

In this role, you will lead bid & proposal efforts, collaborate with the operations team, and cultivate new opportunities with existing clients. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, combined with your ability to present complex information effectively, will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid & Proposal Leadership: Collaborate with the proposal team to develop proposal responses, act as a significant contributor to solution/offer development, and lead the review process.
  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute a growth strategy for assigned domains, achieving sales and revenue goals.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, proactively identifying new opportunities to meet strategic growth objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Pursue and secure strategic relationships with new customers and partners, maintaining and maturing existing relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development as a BD Manager or Capture Manager for a Federal/DOD contractor
  • Experience developing service-based proposals for DoD/Federal customers
  • Strong experience using federal opportunity sourcing tools such as SAM.Gov, FedConnect, Deltek GovWinIQ, etc.
  • Experience developing and owning a pipeline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
