About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Medical Director to lead our critical care team at Sound Physicians. This is an exceptional opportunity for a medical professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care and drive clinical excellence.

Job Summary

The Program Medical Director will be responsible for providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in our ICU, while also leading multidisciplinary rounds and demonstrating robust leadership over a high-performing team of intensivists. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert medical care to critically ill patients
  • Leading rounds with active team participation and collaboration
  • Demonstrating strong leadership skills to motivate and direct the team towards exceptional patient outcomes
  • Supporting Internal Medicine residents through rotation in the ICU as part of our hospital's GME program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of a fellowship in critical care medicine
  • Board certification/eligibility in critical care medicine
  • At least five years of experience leading a team of intensivists
  • An active medical license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain one
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 per year
