The estimated salary for this role is $55-$65 base rate, with opportunities to earn up to $1,300 in free healthcare services annually when enrolled in an Amedisys HSA medical plan. Our full benefits package includes:

As a licensed social worker, you will be responsible for assisting patients and their families with financial, social, and emotional concerns, as well as providing effective coping skills. Your primary duties include:
- Providing social work services in accordance with the plan of care
- Communicating changes in patient clinical status to other healthcare team members and care center office staff
- Educating patients, family members, and team members on medical social work interventions and treatment plans
- Care planning, transfer, and discharge functions
- Identifying risks or threats to patient health and implementing appropriate interventions
To qualify for this position, you must hold a master's or doctorate degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, have one year of social work experience in a healthcare setting, and meet state and federal requirements. Current CPR certification is also required.
