About the Role

US Renal Care is seeking a skilled Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our Griffin Clinic. This is a rewarding opportunity for a licensed nurse to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our dialysis unit.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced LPN/LVN to perform various duties related to patient care, including obtaining blood samples, completing medication profiles, and documenting patient information. The ideal candidate will have a current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state, CPR certification, and previous dialysis experience. A successful completion of USRC training program and basic computer skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
  • Assist with billing log preparation and updates.
  • Perform duties as assigned to meet patient care or operational needs of the clinic.
  • Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders.
  • Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and appropriate documentation in the patient record of all treatments, activities, and communication with the patient, physician, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include:

  • Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Previous dialysis experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to organize time and tasks well.
  • Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
Estimated Salary Range

$63,000 - $81,000 per year, based on location and experience.
