  • Collaborate with Line of Business and Industry Practice Leaders on management of mix and pricing.

  • Regularly assess and report on the health and performance of the Casualty Line of Business, providing actionable insights.
  • Enhance Casualty Underwriting by developing and consolidating guided underwriting principles and exploring opportunities to integrate new data sources and advanced analytics into digital processes.
  • Work alongside Line of Business and Industry Practice Leaders to refine strategies aimed at optimizing outcomes in the Lower Middle Market segment.
  • Assess the effectiveness of initiatives/actions against expectations and share insights with stakeholders to foster a feedback-driven learning environment.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, incorporating external insights into Line of Business Underwriting, Product, and Pricing strategies.
  • Operate in an agile setting, collaborating with Portfolio Managers across various Lines of Business to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Partner with Home Office Line of Business/Industry Practice Managers, Analytics, Actuaries, Claims, and Corporate Catastrophe teams.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant experience in underwriting and data analytics is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial underwriting and principles of the insurance industry.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics and project management.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities essential for integrating underwriting strategies, rules, and modeling concepts.
  • Experience or potential in insurance pricing models and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
