Surety Bond Processor

Job Summary:

The Technical Assistant - Surety will provide support to the Surety Underwriting team, focusing on processing and related functions that contribute to Surety's business success.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute bid bonds, final bonds, riders, consents, releases, cancellations, and other related documents for Chubb Surety customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process Surety data into the corporate booking system, including new lines, premium adjustments, cancellations, status inquiries, contract bond close outs, and all bond changes.
• Review new lines within a timeframe that meets department and/or branch standards.
• Ensure proper rating and coding of bonds, accuracy of data, and ROE's, making corrections as necessary.
• Verify renewal bills for accuracy, initiate requests for additional information, and bring unusual issues to the Supervisor for review.
• Resolve bookkeeping problems as they arise.
• Manage the shared emailbox according to department procedure to ensure timely handling and processing of all items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
