This role involves overseeing the smooth operation of our distribution center, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and managing client connectivity needs.

You will prioritize multiple tasks in a customer-focused environment while leading a diverse team, including warehouse staff, analysts, and seasonal workers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the financial performance of the department through expense-based profit and loss statements.
2. Collaborate with leadership to establish performance objectives and long-term operational strategies.
3. Support pricing strategies for new business opportunities based on internal data and client specifications.
4. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency.
5. Streamline processes across all functions to resolve daily challenges and improve overall workflow.
6. Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory management and shipment coordination.
7. Optimize warehouse layouts and workflows to enhance productivity.
8. Forecast staffing needs in alignment with financial planning and management.
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
10. Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes innovation and accountability.

Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient in Shipping Manager software systems (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Experienced with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Help Desk Software.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and budget management.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- At least 7 years of management experience, including direct oversight of non-exempt staff.
