Job Summary

Floyd's Truck Center Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and capturing sales outside the organization, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling appointments with existing customers to review product requirements and identify new opportunities
  • Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations of company products and services
  • Liaising with customers to provide up-to-date information on pricing, service, and product releases
  • Generating and developing non-member business accounts to increase revenue through cold calling and other sales strategies
  • Staying up-to-date on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings
  • Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, and tact when interacting with customers and representing the company
  • Attending conferences and trade shows to stay informed about industry trends and best practices
  • Using sales management tools to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining expense accounts
  • Updating and maintaining customer accounts, including contact information and sales history
  • Providing product quotes and ensuring follow-up with customers
Requirements
  • Ability to preserve confidential or sensitive information
  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to prospect non-member accounts and upgrade existing customer relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven forecasting and customer service skills
Physical Demands

This position requires regular walking, standing, and use of hands to handle or feel objects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
