Director of Delivery

At eTelligent Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Delivery to lead our client engagements and executive support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively supporting our eTelligent Program Managers in all delivery aspects, from customer satisfaction to team building, recruitment, and program kickoffs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagement and executive support
  • Support executive program briefings to client programs
  • Serve as a liaison and ambassador between program delivery teams, proposal development, and business development teams
  • Support proposal development as a technical content lead
  • Work with Executive Leadership to make decisions for program activities and execute on the organization's strategic plan and goals
  • Direct technical project management function and develop strategic project management and quality standards
  • Manage and provide oversight of programs to ensure customer satisfaction and quality deliverables
  • Support the organic growth of existing programs and manage relationships/agreements with external clients/vendors
  • Guide the development of technical estimates, work plans, methodologies, and deliverables
  • Build project delivery team skills and capacity and manage and mitigate risk in all projects
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develop budgets/policies/procedures
  • Evaluate overall contract performance and work to maximize revenue and reduce costs
  • Ensure programs run with legality and conformity to established regulations
  • Provide guidance and oversight for employee evaluations, recruitment, and career development
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures and revise and evaluate frequently the efficiency of business procedures
  • Establish and maintain an open line of communication between senior leadership and programs
  • Support target growth and revenue targets and provide guidance relative to business markets, strategies, and growth opportunities
  • Onboard new delivery teams/resources and enhance and improve systems and processes to support business needs
  • Develop operational plans that incorporate strategic goals and objectives established by Leadership
  • Collaborate with other executives to support a culture of growth and support Corporate Back-Office Operations to resolve issues, drive improvements, and prioritize enhancements
  • Implement consistent and standard processes for business planning and forecasting, staffing, delivery reporting, and client relationship management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience with deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function
  • Excellent understanding of the Technology space and proficient in Project Management skills
  • Federal Government experience in a client-facing environment (strongly preferred)
  • Extensive experience growing and managing client relationships and managing complex professional services contracts
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the flexibility to work with various aspects of a business
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, manage, and oversee many aspects of a company for optimum productivity
  • Excels working across multiple departments and ability to delegate tasks and implement changes appropriately and effectively
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of business software programs
