Job Summary
The Department of Corrections Executive Leadership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Psychology. This position will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of mental health services within the Department of Corrections Division of Adult Institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction and oversight to psychologist supervisors at assigned facilities
- Facilitate the effective management of patient care and psychological practice at both the Departmental and institution level
- Ensure the effective delivery of mental health services within and between Psychological Services Units
- Develop and implement mental healthcare programs, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with the Mental Health Director and Psychology Director to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Psychologist license
- Certification in CPR by the American Heart Association and training in use of the AED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule

- Competitive salary range of $50.83/hour to $61.35/hour
- Supplemental pay of an additional $6.00 per hour for Doctorate of Psychology (or equivalent) and $5.00/hour add-on for WI Psychologist License
