Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of contractual agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Lead the contract review and negotiations process with clients and other stakeholders to establish favorable contract terms and conditions that align with company objectives while mitigating risks.
  • Contract Drafting and Administration: Review, draft, and revise contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, sales agreements, purchase orders, change orders, warranty claims, vendor and subcontractor contracts, and licensing agreements, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and legal integrity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies.
  • Contract Risk Management: Support the management of contractual risks, including liabilities, indemnities, and intellectual property rights, to protect the interests of the company.
  • Contract Documentation and Tracking: Maintain an organized system for contract documentation, tracking key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, and provide timely follow-up and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Support the cultivation of strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to foster timely contract execution and dispute resolution.
  • Dispute Resolution: Facilitate the resolution of contract disputes and claims through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, seeking equitable solutions that preserve business relationships.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in contract management practices, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, finance, and operations, to coordinate contract activities and achieve strategic business objectives.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in negotiating multi-million dollar construction and manufacturing contract management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction and procurement contract management, preferably in the renewable and power industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex contractual issues, identify risks, and develop creative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $171,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
