The Facilities Operations Supervisor also monitors the performance of all electrical and mechanical systems through regular inspections and repairs, ensuring that the premises are maintained in a clean and safe manner, adhering to Fairstead's safety protocols and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel.
  • Take charge of special projects and initiatives.
  • Execute a variety of skilled maintenance and repair activities.
  • Possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and accident prevention.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a specific trade along with general maintenance and repair capabilities.
  • Work autonomously on routine tasks while collaborating on more complex projects.
  • Be available for overtime work during special projects or emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in property maintenance.
  • Expertise in a specific trade along with general maintenance and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with tools, techniques, and terminology relevant to building and mechanical trades.
  • Strong understanding of safety measures and accident prevention strategies.
  • Experience with a variety of tools and equipment necessary for task completion.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Capability to develop and enhance policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Yardi Software is a plus.
