Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Systems Specialist to join our team at Synergis. As a key member of our workforce solutions partner, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Audio Visual and Access Control Systems in multi-tenant and multi-dwelling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network connections and smart devices in low voltage systems
  • Terminate, troubleshoot, tag, tone, and test twisted pair and coaxial cables
  • Work with fiber optic cables and experience with IP subnetting and the OSI model
  • Install and troubleshoot IP Cameras, Smart Locks, Smart Thermostats, and Digital Displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients during installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure future customer loyalty
  • Escalate issues to the services team and work with programmers to load updated control programming files
  • Articulate troubleshooting actions, next steps, and recommendations to clients
Requirements
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience installing and maintaining low voltage systems, including Access Control, Audio Visual, Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Smart Devices, and Digital Displays
  • 2+ years of experience supporting one or more of the following: Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Smart Devices, and Digital Displays
  • Brivo Access Control experience and previous experience working with an Audio-Visual services provider
  • Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts, networking protocols, and IoT devices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with an Audio/Visual specific services company
  • Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video, and networking equipment
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with some work being performed after-hours and weekends. Travel is required, with varying percentages of time spent on the road, and occasional overnight stays may be necessary.
