Position Responsibilities:
- Safely execute emergency and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and infrastructure.
- Respond to directives from the Maintenance Group Leader and address emergency breakdowns by diagnosing issues, disassembling equipment, and replacing defective components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electronic systems, including monitoring devices such as Video Jet Printers, ovens, and oxidizer controls.
- Assist production supervisors during emergencies, ensuring timely repairs through effective resource management.
- Maintain cleanliness in maintenance areas post-repair activities.
- Utilize company tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring a safe working environment through Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, notifying leadership when stock levels are low.
- Utilize the Work Order system for entering and completing tasks as directed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams from Production and Quality Control to resolve issues and meet company objectives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to plant leadership.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 1-2 years of experience with electrical and electronic systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and networking controls.
- Experience in project management.
Skills:
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, mathematical aptitude, and the ability to understand and follow complex instructions. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Work Environment:
Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and varying temperatures. The noise level is moderate, and safety protocols must be strictly followed.
