Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our Global Technology Infrastructure group, you will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications
  • Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical direction and solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize technical debt and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on technical leadership
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and their networking services
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of API integrations and RESTful services
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
