Job Summary

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking an experienced Executive Project Manager to lead high-profile projects of considerable complexity. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, defining, and managing projects from planning and design implementation to measurement and maintenance of desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including project coordinators, analysts, and subject matter experts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Communication: Develop and disseminate project reports, updates, and communications to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues and risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, engineering, or computer science.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Education: Master's degree in a related field.
