Job Overview
A dynamic and rapidly expanding organization is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineer to become part of their innovative team.

This role involves contributing to a pioneering group that is transforming the logistics sector through the advancement of hybrid electric propulsion systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and perform routine maintenance, including calibration of laser systems, on the current fleet of additive manufacturing machines.
  • Investigate and resolve unanticipated downtime challenges related to additive manufacturing equipment.
  • Recognize and implement enhancements to optimize post-processing workflows for additively produced components.
  • Develop proficiency in new production technologies as they are incorporated into the existing machinery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish parameters that boost printing efficiency, enhance part quality and performance, and facilitate the introduction of new materials.
  • Provide training and mentorship to fellow machine technicians to strengthen the overall support capabilities of the team as operations expand.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with LPBF (laser powder bed fusion) technology

  • Familiarity with GE Additive/Concept Laser systems is preferred.
