This role involves collaborating closely with commercial paint clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and propose suitable solutions. The Customer Service Branch Specialist is also responsible for swiftly resolving any client issues to ensure optimal customer satisfaction while staying informed about product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Assist clients both in-person and via phone by identifying needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive trust relationships with wholesale clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products as required to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and organize displays.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as needed.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about available products and discuss options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Have prior experience selling paint and related products.
  • Have experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
