Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of all properties within our portfolio. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management and coordination skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with staff and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Direct and manage the activities of Facilities staff and outside vendors to optimize efficiency and achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Facilities Help Desk: Manage the 24-hour facilities help desk and Corrigo system, providing periodic reports to the field on quality and timeliness of work performed and suggestions for improvements.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Work with the Housing Inspection Manager to develop and monitor procedures for the inspection of all buildings, and collaborate with Accounting and Leasing Departments to maintain and update repair and maintenance-related files.
  • Procurement and Audits: Develop prudent procurement practices, conduct regular audits of all Facilities Department vendors to ensure quality of work, and generate and approve APVs (Accounts Payable Vouchers) for the Facilities Department.
  • Space Allocation and Layouts: Oversee the coordination of space allocation and layouts for administrative buildings, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, energy conservation, environmental, and ADA regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Manage on-call personnel and procedures for emergency and routine service requirements, and respond to Help Desk requests for maintenance, construction, life safety, facilities' equipment use, and safety practices.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant area preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven years' experience, of which at least five must be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Licenses and Certifications: License check and vehicle access required.
