The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and a passion for building relationships with customers. They will be responsible for supporting the regional sales team and providing sales training to field associates. The position will also require the ability to travel up to 75% of the time and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional sales team in achieving sales objectives through targeted customer engagement and negotiation.
  • Provide sales training to field associates and support their development in the Specimen Management portfolio.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the laboratory, nursing, and medical device industries and apply this knowledge to support sales efforts.
  • Work closely with field associates and regional business managers to plan and prioritize sales calls and manage time and business travel effectively.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of all related products and provide customers with product information, data insights, and clinical education.
  • Cultivate new and existing customers to establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Work a flexible schedule and travel up to 75% of the time to meet the needs of IDS customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-2 years of outside sales experience or equivalency.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Strong persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Good judgment and professional behavior.
  • Basic knowledge of Laboratory, Nursing, and Medical Device industry.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build and sustain professional relationships with hospital, other sales, and corporate office personnel.
