Resident District Manager

As a Resident District Manager with Flik Hospitality Group, you will oversee the management of a large multi-unit corporate dining account. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the point of contact for the client and lead the team within the account, ensuring the overall operation runs smoothly.
You will provide strategic planning and direction to achieve operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment. Building strong client relationships is crucial to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team at the account to provide top-notch service to the client.
- Drive and develop self and team at the account towards building strong relationships with the client(s) and achievement of key performance indicators (profitability, safety, employee engagement, etc.).
- May serve on district leadership team, participating in ongoing conversations with peers to share best practices, mitigate risks, champion diversity, and build community.
- Ensure decisions are weighed for risk/reward and short/long term implications while gathering input from the team and partners.
- Foster a culture of transparency, understanding, education, safety, and accountability at the account.
- Ensure client needs are met or exceeded, retaining the account, finding cross-sell opportunities, and assisting in rebid process as directed.
- Support functional areas of operation, including but not limited to safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, federal, and company policies, and conduct unit audits to ensure conformance for key areas (e.g. food storage, sanitation).
- Champion development within the account; conduct performance evaluations, along with succession planning for the account; have full understanding of all roles within operation.
- Own the financial results for the account, and work with leadership to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Ensure consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of three (3) years of management experience, preferably in contract foodservice management.
- Well-versed in all aspects of foodservice management with a proven track record of success.
- Proven track record of leading a business and a team, strong customer service, and good business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrates strong initiative, critical thinking, ownership, communications (listening, written, and verbal), multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Champions the inclusion mindset, and is proactive, positive, professional, and resilient.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and POS software.
- 40% travel required in this position.
