Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to become an integral part of our Robotics team. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and repairing advanced robotic systems.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver exceptional customer support through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic instruments.
  • Conduct new equipment installations with precision.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Istituto Marangoni's robotic equipment.
  • Document problems and conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures.
  • Travel regularly to various sites, ensuring timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Experience in both field and corporate environments.
  • The ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • A safety-conscious mindset, particularly when handling potentially hazardous materials.
  • A willingness to learn new robotic operating systems.
  • A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Education/Experience
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is preferred.

Experience:
Prior experience in technical field service, particularly within the life sciences, clinical, or pharmaceutical sectors, is advantageous. Experience in automation or related fields is essential. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. The ability to lift and move approximately 60 lbs is necessary.
