Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team at Milwaukee Area Technical College. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and repair of television broadcast IT systems, software, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain television broadcast IT systems, software, and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of broadcast systems
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve broadcast efficiency and quality
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in broadcast engineering

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in television broadcast IT, TV engineering, or related field
• At least five years of progressively responsible work experience in television broadcast IT/TV engineering functions
• Strong knowledge of broadcast television station engineering and production workflow and support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in television broadcast IT, TV engineering, or related field
• SBE (Society of Broadcast Engineers) certifications and/or IT certifications
• Experience with Microsoft networking certification or Microsoft server certification
