Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years in treasury operations.
  • Expertise in ERP accounting systems such as SAP or Tyler Munis.
  • Strong proficiency in Operations Management and Analytical capabilities.
  • Understanding of financial regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proactive attitude, ready to tackle challenges and implement innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CTP, CMA, or CPA.
  • Experience within State, County, or Government sectors.

Role Overview:

Insight Global is in search of a seasoned Finance Operations Manager. The Finance Department is embarking on the creation of an independent Department of Finance, encompassing a comprehensive range of financial functions to support the district. As part of this transition from the County, the district is rolling out a new ERP system, developing in-house treasury and cash management operations, and establishing new banking partnerships and payment services.

This position is a full-time hybrid role as a Finance Manager. The district seeks a highly qualified individual with a blend of project management and finance operations expertise to oversee the development of systems and processes for an autonomous government agency finance department, as well as the transfer of responsibilities from the County. The Finance Manager will be tasked with supervising the implementation of new financial operations in accordance with the new ERP system, defining work roles and workflows, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and enhancing financial processes. This role offers flexibility, including opportunities for remote work.

Compensation Details:

Hourly rate ranges from $55 to $65.

Actual compensation may differ based on various factors, including skills, experience, and educational background.

Benefits for this position commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts, along with access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
