Job Summary
The Administrative Specialist will provide high-level clerical support to a department head/lead, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the department's point of contact, responding to inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Accept assignments from various department staff and possess expertise in department software.
- Enhance presentations and maintain department software and spreadsheets to promote efficiency.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Analyze internal processes and recommend procedural improvements.
- Accept receipt and distribution of deliveries and possess a valid driver's license.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including organizing community events and meetings that impact multiple departments.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
