Graphic Designer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Summary:

The Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in the creation and management of a diverse array of printed and digital design assets.

This position requires a strategic thinker and effective communicator with robust project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple assignments while showcasing creativity to fulfill design objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and deliver engaging print and digital marketing materials, ensuring compliance with established brand standards.
  • Achieve clients' communication goals through a comprehensive understanding of typography and design, generating concepts and detailed layouts while advising clients on optimal solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to brainstorm innovative concepts for projects, initiatives, and campaigns aimed at enhancing brand visibility and loyalty.
  • Foster a workplace culture that reflects the institution's core values of love, dignity, courage, humility, resilience, curiosity, and empowerment.
  • Manage various design projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Investigate and apply contemporary design trends, including the integration of AI in the design workflow.
  • Oversee project budgets; solicit and evaluate print estimates; prepare files for printing; review proofs and participate in press checks as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in producing and overseeing a substantial volume of design projects for both print and digital media.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Professional.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Canva and content management systems.

Compensation: Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
