Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Office Operations: Manage the daily functions of the front office, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Patient Communication: Greet patients in a polite and helpful manner, provide necessary instructions, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Update patient information, collect co-pays, and prepare appointment schedules for physicians.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Effectively use the current operating system for EMR, including appointment management and scheduling.
  • Office Supplies and Maintenance: Maintain an adequate level of office supplies and perform daily tasks and clinical inbox management.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service, medical office, or related experience
  • Skills: Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications, general administrative and clerical procedures, and working knowledge of healthcare insurance
  • Certifications: BLS certification preferred
