Job Description:

The Medical Insurance Claims Coordinator will be responsible for performing all functions necessary to obtain timely reimbursement or resolve denial issues. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Reviewing and processing medical claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve claim-related issues
  • Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or errors in claims processing

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have prior experience in billing and collections for a medical practice or physician, including ICD-9 and CPT coding. You must also be proficient in MS Office and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working Hours and Salary:

This is a full-time position, working 80.00 hours bi-weekly. The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
