About the Role

As a Pathways Student at OneAmerica, you will play a vital role in supporting our Claims teams by providing timely and accurate administrative support. This position offers a unique opportunity to explore your passions while making a meaningful impact in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous, and empathetic service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Documentation and Communication: Assist in documenting and communicating phone conversations in accordance with department guidelines, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Claim Requirements: Help request, verify, and collect claim requirements from policyholders, insureds, and other stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of claims submitted.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong academic record and excellent attendance.
  • Enrollment: Currently enrolled in college, with a proven ability to balance academic responsibilities with work commitments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Work Environment
