Summary of Position:
This role entails providing proficient and autonomous administrative support that necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the policies and procedures within the College of Engineering Technology Dean's Office and related areas. Responsibilities include supporting college functions related to assessment, scholarships, enrollment management, curriculum, course evaluations, and webpage updates, alongside assisting the Associate Dean and performing various clerical tasks.

Required Education:
Completion of three years of college education or equivalent experience.

Required Work Experience:
Two years of full-time secretarial experience, which must include advanced bookkeeping, office supervisory duties, and public interaction requiring tact and diplomacy. Equivalent part-time experience will be considered.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Extract information from various sources including books, journals, and reports.
2. Respond to inquiries from diverse internal and external stakeholders, providing clarity on policies and procedures.
3. Collect and analyze complex data from multiple sources.
4. Coordinate operations and activities with other clerical staff to ensure policy consistency.
5. Draft correspondence that reflects an understanding of departmental activities and policies.
6. Utilize computer systems for data management and reporting.
7. Provide training to junior clerical staff.
8. Monitor budgetary allocations and maintain accurate records.
9. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10. Uphold the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.

Marginal Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in clerical duties for other positions as needed, attend meetings in the absence of supervisors, and help develop promotional materials for events.

Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
2. Proficiency in various software applications for data management.
3. Ability to interpret and resolve student issues effectively.
4. Competence in operating office equipment and performing basic math accurately.
