Summary of Position:
This role entails providing essential, autonomous administrative support that necessitates independent interpretation of policies and procedures within the College of Engineering Technology Dean's Office and associated areas. Responsibilities include supporting the college in areas such as assessment, scholarships, enrollment management, curriculum, course evaluations, and webpage updates, while also assisting the Associate Dean and fulfilling various clerical duties.

Required Education:
Completion of three years of college education or equivalent experience.

Required Work Experience:
Two years of full-time secretarial experience, which must include advanced bookkeeping, office supervisory responsibilities, and public interaction requiring tact and diplomacy. Part-time experience may be considered equivalent.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Extract information from various sources including books, journals, and reports.
2. Respond to inquiries from diverse internal and external sources, providing explanations of policies and procedures.
3. Collect and analyze complex data from multiple sources.
4. Coordinate operations and procedures with other clerical staff to ensure policy consistency.
5. Draft correspondence that reflects an understanding of departmental activities.
6. Utilize computer systems for data management and reporting.
7. Train junior clerical staff.
8. Monitor budgets and maintain records for a major division.
9. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.

Marginal Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in clerical roles as needed, attend meetings in the absence of supervisors, and contribute to the development of promotional materials for events.
