POSITION: ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER - RICHEMONT, NEW YORK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Address inquiries related to Watches and Accessories from authorized retailers, boutiques, and call centers, ensuring exceptional customer service while resolving issues such as delays, pricing concerns, and client frustrations.
  • Assist with wholesale product shipments as necessary.
  • Coordinate bi-annual consignment confirmations.
  • Manage the order process for Watches and Accessories, including order entry, processing, transferring, and tracking of sales orders and consignments.
  • Prepare and distribute daily sales updates for wholesale and retail.
  • Engage with various departments across the organization, including teams in Europe, finance, logistics, and after-sales service.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of current and historical watch collections.

JOB PROFILE:

Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess 3-4 years of experience, preferably in Wholesale Sales and Operations.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative spirit.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, are required.
  • Understanding of merchandise process flows and retail mathematics is advantageous.

Personal Attributes:

  • Analytical thinker with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities to address customer complaints and develop effective solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Luxury Watch or Jewelry Industry is a plus.
