Position Details:

We are in search of a skilled and results-oriented individual to take on the role of a Permanent Senior Project Scheduler within our Engineering division. This position is suited for someone proficient in Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path Management (CPM), with a solid background as a Scheduler and Senior Project Scheduler. A DoD Clearance and Q Clearance are essential, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee intricate project schedules utilizing project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments to pinpoint and alleviate program cost and scheduling challenges.
  • Apply Critical Path Management (CPM) to guarantee timely project completion within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with project teams to comprehend work plans and ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyze project control trends to identify potential issues and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Offer guidance and expertise to project teams regarding schedule management and CPM.
  • Work closely with project managers to create and sustain detailed resource-loaded project schedules using MS Project 2010.
  • Identify key milestones, decision points, project life-cycle phases, and other significant project events.
  • Troubleshoot and oversee potential scheduling challenges.
  • Maintain precise and current project plans and schedules.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Scheduler in the engineering sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path Management (CPM).
  • Proven track record as a Scheduler and Senior Project Scheduler.
  • Must possess a DoD Clearance and Q Clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
