Position Summary

The Customer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the procurement, assembly, maintenance, distribution, and documentation of customer assets and new sales inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
  • Offer detailed information regarding products and services
  • Diagnose and rectify product-related issues and concerns
  • Maintain and update customer records based on interactions
  • Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive knowledge base of evolving products and services
  • Generate work and sales orders for new equipment, ensuring specifications and delivery timelines are met
  • Coordinate field service delivery with the appropriate service personnel
  • Assess quotes to identify equipment requirements and prepare Engineer Work Requests (EWR) for necessary part numbers
  • Complete Purchase Requisitions to guarantee timely equipment acquisition
  • Prepare documentation for Customer Property, including receiving documents, work orders, reports, and maintenance logs
  • Engage with customers as necessary
  • Follow established systems, processes, and procedures for New Equipment sales and Customer Property operations at the designated branch
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior customer service or sales experience within the oil and gas industry
  • Proficient understanding of oil/gas valves and equipment
  • Competent in MS Office applications and SAP
  • Familiarity with Netsuite and Sideline is preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
