POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative at DELTA FUEL COMPANY INC is responsible for assisting the external sales team, operational staff, and clients by providing timely service, precise order processing, punctual product delivery, and effective resolution of issues as they arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess customer inquiries for potential sales opportunities.
  • Accurately manage customer orders and quotation documentation.
  • Facilitate and prioritize customer orders, ensuring that client needs are understood and communicated effectively.
  • Adopt a proactive stance in addressing customer complaints and requests for expedited service.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and dispatch teams to ensure seamless communication regarding quotes, quality concerns, deliveries, potential clients, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
  • Compile and submit feedback reports to the Main Office and Supervisor concerning customer interactions.
  • Gain proficiency in using CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage customer relationships.
  • Conduct follow-ups on customer quotations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Outstanding customer service abilities paired with a friendly demeanor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and exercise independent judgment.
  • Familiarity with basic email and computer operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of standard business practices related to purchasing, pricing, terms, shipping, taxes, and payment processes.
  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a competitive spirit, strong organizational skills, and a proven track record in sales.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Customer Service or a related field is required.
